Biography

Born and raised here in Lafayette, LA. Rochon attended Holy Family, St Genevieve, and Teurlings Catholic High school. He is a graduate of Acadiana High School. He studied biology and chemistry at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, LA. This led him to study medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. After, he trained in Internal Medicine at University Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

 

After two years of Hospitalist work and private internal medicine practice in Lafayette, he decided to pursue his dream of practicing cardiology. He trained in cardiology at LSU in New Orleans, LA then interventional cardiology at University of Arkansas for medical sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. He's been practicing cardiology for 7 years back in his home-town and is currently the Cardiology Director at Franklin Foundation Hospital in Franklin, LA. He is also the Cardiology Director at Post Acute Medical Hospital in Lafayette, LA. He's happy to announce his new location of private practice in Lafayette, LA that is now accepting new and existing patients.
